We love making custom 3D printed pieces for you — from wedding favours to toys, decorations, and collectables. And while they look awesome fresh off the printer, a little TLC goes a long way in keeping them looking their best. Here’s our quick guide to caring for your 3D printed items! 👌

🧼 1️⃣ Keep Them Clean

For everyday dust and dirt, gently wipe your 3D printed item with a soft, dry cloth.If it needs a deeper clean, a slightly damp cloth with a touch of mild soap works great — just avoid soaking or scrubbing too hard, especially with hand-painted pieces.

Top Tip: Avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleaners, as they can damage certain materials like PLA and paint finishes.

🌡️ 2️⃣ Mind the Heat

Most 3D printed items, especially those made from PLA, don’t like high heat. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight, near radiators, or inside hot cars.If exposed to heat, prints can soften, warp, or lose their shape.

Good to know: If you need something heat-resistant, ask us about PETG or ASA options when placing your order!

Hand-painted prints are sealed for durability, but they’ll still last longer with a little care.Keep them away from water and excessive handling, and avoid knocking them against hard surfaces.
