🖨️ What Are Multi-Colour 3D Prints?

Multi-colour 3D printing is exactly what it sounds like — printing an object using two or more different coloured filaments during the printing process. This can be done in a couple of ways:

• Changing colours mid-print manually

• Using filament swap systems (This is what Parker3D uses)
  

It’s a great way to add colour variation straight off the printer, without the need for painting afterwards. It’s quicker, cost-effective, and perfect for items like name tags, party favours, signs, and simple toys where bold, block colours work best.

Cons: ❌ Limited to available filament colours ❌ Less intricate detail than hand-painting

🎨 What Are Hand-Painted 3D Prints?

Hand-painted prints start as a single-colour print (usually grey or white), then get detailed by hand using paints and brushes after printing. This is perfect for projects where you want extra shading, fine details, or a totally unique finish.
